RAISING WIRE
Raising fillet serves the purpose of creating a nap on woven or knitted fabrics by employing a process in which needles penetrate, break, and lift the fibers. The specific type of raising fillet needed varies based on the type of fabric. Our product range includes options with a vulcanized rubber, wool felt, and rubber felt foundation. Vulcanized rubber is the standard type, with wool felt primarily utilized for knitted fabrics, while rubber felt is designed for heavy fabrics commonly found in the automotive industry.
In addition to the standard bright wire, we offer alternatives with galvanized and stainless-steel wire. The latter two are preferred for wet processing or when working in high humidity conditions. Optionally, a flame treatment is available to enhance the durability of the needle tips.
Our raising fillets are ideal for use with Gesnner, RFG, Woonsocket, Comet, Unitech, Lafer, Lamperti, Mario Crosta, Parks & Woolson, Kuang and all other brands of machinery.
Apart from manufacturing raising fillet, UB-Tec also produces brushes designed for cleaning the fillet. These cleaning brushes are available as sheets or continuous rolls. We manufacture special brushes tailored for velveting and tiger brushes.
